Have you ever tried making a store-bought brownie mix with egg replacer? Then you know what you wind up with is more like a paving stone than brownies! Sant Bani School’s Peters/Rosenbloom family has come up with a solution. Organic dates make the mix moist and sweet, and chocolate chips makes them good and fudgy. You just add water and butter or margarine. Other ingredients: organic flour, organic sugar, organic walnuts, egg replacer, oat flour, cocoa, vanilla powder and baking soda. Makes a 9x13 pan.
