Kai de Mello-Folsom, Independent Artist
Kai de Mello-Folsom is an artist of many mediums. Currently pursuing a double-major B.F.A. at Chapman University for Film Production and Theatre Performance, Kai has worked independently and professionally on a variety of film, theatre, dance and music productions. With a broad focus in production, directing and design, Kai has been the proud recipient of various awards, such as the NH Association of Broadcasters Scholarship, First Place in the Northeast Regional ACM (Student Category) for his short documentary film “NAMI NH,” and finally a top finalist in Fox Network’s National Storyteller Competition for his original pilot “Reel to Real.” Originally from New Hampshire, Kai is excited to be making his debut on the West Coast in California...
